Monica Beebe has been elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors of Santa Ynez Valley People Helping People. Ms. Beebe graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She obtained her CPA license in Colorado where she worked for three years in public Accounting with KPMG.
Monica has twenty years work experience in various entertainment industries and is currently employed by the Chumash Casino Resort where she started in 1993 as the Financial Controller. Five years ago, she was promoted to Executive Director of Finance with responsibility for the financial wellbeing of all Tribal Enterprises.
Beebe is a native of Michigan where she lived for 14 years, followed by 21 years residence in Colorado, and most recently 12 years in California. She currently lives in Santa Maria.
Founded in 1992, PHP is a non-profit charity serving the Santa Ynez Valley, Los Alamos Valley, and the Gaviota Coast. PHP’s mission is to “improve the lives of men, women, and children in the Santa Ynez Valley, Los Alamos, and surrounding communities by addressing emergency and basic needs, furnishing comprehensive integrated family and individual support services, and acting as a catalyst for positive community change.”
