Bethania Lutheran Church, along with Thrivent Financial and People Helping People (PHP) are reaching out to the kind folks in the Santa Ynez Valley to help them find BLANKETS FOR THE NEEDY.
We are in need of 100+ new, or in good condition, CLEAN, blankets to be given to the families of Iglesia Luterana (Santa Maria), LOCAL families in need, and also to the homeless in our community. We are also seeking new tarps for the homeless, who often sleep on the wet ground.
You can deliver your new or gently used and CLEAN blankets by January 31st to PHP, located at 545 N. Alisal Rd, Solvang or Bethania Lutheran Church Office (small white house) at 603 Atterdag Rd.
All blankets will become the property of someone grateful for your warmth and generosity.
Cash donations will also be graciously accepted at PHP or Bethania’s Church Office and used to purchase blankets. Thank you in advance for ‘cleaning’ out your linen closet of those blankets from “Aunt June” that you never really liked.
