Vibiana Medina

photo, Vibiana is a Development Associate at People Helping People, helping donors, volunteers, and community members find meaningful ways to connect with PHP’s mission. She supports fundraising, community events, and volunteer engagement, but her real superpower is making people feel like they belong to something bigger.

Before joining PHP, Vibiana worked within the court system, an experience that gave her a firsthand understanding of how complicated and intimidating systems can feel. She learned that sometimes the most important difference is having a person who can be the bridge—someone who helps make the process feel more human, welcoming, and possible. She brings that same thoughtfulness to the relationships she builds at PHP.

Vibiana has a gift for creating spaces where people want to stay just a little bit longer. She is always decorating, adding a thoughtful detail, or finding a way to make a room feel warmer and more inviting. Whether she is welcoming a volunteer, helping with an event, or bringing people together around PHP’s work, her attention to detail and instinct for connection make people feel seen and included.

Outside of PHP, Vibiana loves spending time at the park or beach with her daughter, whose joy and spark are a wonderful reflection of her mom.
