Jennifer Garcia
Lead Care Manager
jenniferg@syvphp.orgJennifer Garcia is a Lead Care Manager at People Helping People, working one-on-one with individuals and families and meeting each person where they are. She believes meaningful support starts with listening—understanding each person’s strengths, needs, and goals, then working alongside them as they navigate challenges and take their next steps with confidence.
Jennifer grew up between Mexico and the United States, moving back and forth more than once, an experience that shaped her understanding of family, culture, transition, and what it means to find your footing in a community. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and six years of experience working in childcare, she brings a deep appreciation for the experiences of children and families to her work at PHP.
Her connection to the Santa Ynez Valley is especially close to home. Jennifer grew up in the same neighborhood where PHP’s headquarters stands today, and she and her husband, a local barber, are now raising their family in the community they know and love.
For Jennifer, serving her neighbors is personal. She wants every person she works with to feel respected, understood, and supported in building the life they envision for themselves.
