Chief Operating Officer
calissec@syvphp.orgJenifer Sanregret is the Director of Philanthropy & Community Engagement at People Helping People, where she brings donors, volunteers, businesses, and community partners together around a shared belief that everyone has something to contribute. For Jenifer, philanthropy is about more than raising money—it is about building relationships, listening to people’s stories, and helping them find where their own story connects with the mission.
Jenifer’s path to this work is deeply personal. As the mother of a son with cystic fibrosis, she learned firsthand the difference that advocacy, generosity, and a community willing to show up can make for a family. That experience grew into years of advocacy and fundraising and helped shape her belief in the extraordinary things that can happen when people come together for one another.
Her professional journey has included entrepreneurship, event planning, corporate giving, and nonprofit fundraising, but creativity and community have always been common threads. Jenifer is also the author of The ABCs of the S.Y.V. and The ABCs of S.B.C., children’s books inspired by the places, people, and experiences that make this region home. Her hope that children can see themselves and their communities reflected in those pages mirrors what she strives to create at PHP: a place where people feel connected, included, and part of something that belongs to all of us.
Outside of PHP, Jenifer loves exploring the Central Coast with her husband, Grant, and their sons, Vance and Hayes. You might also find her at a farmers market, on a hiking trail, or roller skating along the beach.
